Haydn (Herjuk)

I have been podcasting with @stevoo7 for about 6 years before setting up Pop Culture Gamers. I host the show with Steve as well as produce the show.

I have lots of interests but my main interest is gaming which I do on Xbox, PlayStation, Switch and PC.  In terms of gaming I have been playing video games since the 70s with the Commodore 3000H, but my first real machine was in the 80s, starting on a Commodore 64, I also had an MSX, Acorn Electron, Commodore Amiga 500, 500+ and 1200, CD32, Acord Archimedies, Mega Drive, Nokia N-Gage, Playstation 1, 2 and 3, the PSP and Vita, Xbox, Xbox 360, GameBoy, GameBoy Advance, Nintendo DS, GameCube, Wii and Wii U.

I am a big sci-fi fan and love both Star Trek and Star Wars especially.  I grew up on classics like Space 1999, UFO, the Six Million Dollar Man, the Man from Uncle and other similar shows.  I am a bit of a Whovian, love Bond,  Back to the Future movies, Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, and comedies such as the Good Place and Last Man on Earth.

I am also a big super-hero genre fan, more Marvel than DC but still love both.

I also have a lot of interest in science, especially astronomy, what is out there and love to understand the science behind a lot of the shows and can be very nerdy and a nit picker on occasion!

 Stephen (Stevoo7)

I've been podcasting for about 7 years now and seems like a lifetime. Now gaming has been in my blood going all the way back too 1977 with a Binatone console with pong and breakout and from there was the amiga St moving to Sega consoles and then PlayStation 1 and 2. At that point I got bored and moved to Xbox with all variations and last year picked up a ps4 pro.

As a child I grew up with sci-fi watching star trek, Dr Who and B-movies like the day the earth stood Still and Them. In the middle of this I am a huge Bond fan but will save that for later. Tv shows Gerry Andersons shows like Thunderbirds and UFO, space 1999.

Other shows come to mind like Time Tunnel, Lost In Space and Land of the Giants. As I got older Horror movies came in to play in the late 70s with john Carpenters Halloween and The Exorcist and as we come up to date with all comics in the movies Dc and marvel. And some of the tv over the last 10 years Dexter is one of my favourites.
